Play as a Skink, travelling across the Western Australian Dryandra environment, defeating plagued wildlife and factory-made robots, defeating bosses, and gathering resources to access and shut down the man-made factory, the source of the robots plaguing Western Australia.

Game Description and Narrative

A Skink's Tale is a Western Australian fantasy, pixel-art game, following and playing as the Blue Tongued Lizard main character, Skink. The only remaining evidence that humans once occupied the land is what they've left behind; once mundane items to humans have become valuable to the critters of the new world, allowing a new way of life to surface. Explore the overworld's environments, battling plagued wildlife and mindless robots with the sole intention of degrading the world you know. Plunder your way through the dangerous dungeons, earning rewards and finding the missing pieces to the sealed entrance of the Factory.
